What is Sahur (Suhoor)? Sahur, also known as Suhoor, is the pre-dawn meal eaten by Muslims during the month of Ramadan. It is an important part of fasting, as it provides energy before abstaining from food and drink until sunset. Missing sahur can make fasting more difficult, which is why people are often woken up in creative or loud ways."
